After landing her first Vogue cover and scoring a breakout year on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet, it was only a matter of time before one of the European luxury brands signed on Bella Hadid. Tuesday morning, Dior announced on Instagram that it has enlisted the model as the latest face of Dior Makeup; the news comes ahead of the cruise 2017 show at Blenheim Palace in London, in which Hadid will walk. While the details of her ambassadorship have not yet been been revealed, WWD is reporting that Hadid will appear in an online video series with Dior makeup creative director Peter Philips starting June 6.
Hadid joins esteemed company: Dior announced last May that in addition to appearing in campaigns for Dior's ready to wear line, Be Dior and Miss Dior handbags, actress Jennifer Lawrence (and Hadid's doppelgänger) had also signed on as the face of Dior Addict makeup. Natalie Portman has starred in the Miss Dior fragrance campaigns since 2010 as well as print ads for other Dior cosmetic lines, and models Sasha Luss and Kate Moss have also posed for the makeup division.
