Like many fellow consumers of pop culture, Karl Lagerfeld apparently watched "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" once in its early seasons and then decided to never do so again. In an a conversation with Kendall Jenner and Harper's Bazaar Executive Editor Laura Brown for the glossy's June/July cover, Lagerfeld said he didn't know about the young model's reality TV show chops when they first worked together two years ago. "No, we don't have it here. I didn't even know she was in it. I saw it when it was only her sisters and she was, like, a baby," he says. Fair enough.
Lagerfeld reveals some other fascinating facts: His contracts with Chanel and Fendi are lifelong ("Everyone wants to know and hopes I retire so they can get the jobs."), he doesn't have a kitchen in his home and he lowers his signature ponytail each night before tucking in to sleep on the "most beautiful Egyptian-cotton antique sheets in the world."
For Jenner, Lagerfeld and Brown's full conversation — including talk of Kanye West's Bieber obsession and Jenner's love of showers — head on over to Harper's Bazaar.
