Although Kate Middleton probably has access to any fashion item she pleases, the Royal continues to repeat the same designer pieces over the years, and as recently as Wednesday. The avid outfit recycler opened a swanky new playground at the Hampton Court Palace, adorably titled the Magic Garden. The Duchess of Cambridge kept her Michael Kors coat on throughout the entire visit, which she also wore during her New Zealand and Australian tour in 2014. For accessories, she turned to her go-to brand L.K. Bennett for its nude-colored Fern pumps and Nina clutch.
The Mirror has a detailed play-by-play of Middleton's public appearances, which also includes the fun fact that the Royal household owns a pet hamster named Marvin (!), as well as speculation that she may have dyed her hair a lighter "golden shade of auburn." Hm. What do you think?
After Hampton Court Palace, it was on to a charity luncheon at the Anna Freud Centre. The organization cares for children with mental health issues and is a new initiative taken on by the Duchess. Middleton ditched her coat to show off a Roksanda Ilincic dress in a pretty pastel blue shade. The Duchess has worn this piece at least four times since 2011. Impressive! (Or, like, very normal among us regular folks.)
Following the Magic Garden and Anna Freud Centre, the Duchess will visit the National Portrait Gallery where two portraits from her British Vogue cover shoot are currently on display. We happily doubt there will be an outfit change.
Update: Welp! We were wrong. The Duchess did indeed switch outfits. (Although she stuck with the same L.K. Bennett accessories.) From pastel blue to pastel pink, Middleton arrived at the National Portrait Gallery in an Alexander McQueen dress. Unsurprisingly, it's a piece that she also wore during her previous visit to New Zealand and Australia.
