My all-time favorite silhouette is the long-sleeved minidress — it accentuates my best features and is easy to transition from day to night. I especially like Maiyet's version thanks to its intricate lace detailing, and you can never go wrong with a flattering piece like this in classic navy. I decided to give it a casual and colorful punch, perhaps for a post-office happy hour or a weekend brunch, with some red fringed sandals and a denim jacket with matching embroidery. If I needed to stop by a fashion-y party at a moment's notice, I'd ditch the jean topper, add a red lip and be all good to go.

This slip dress's shiny metallic silver initially caught my eye, and after noticing how comfortably loose it is, I knew I had give it a '90s-inspired layer treatment. I picked my favorite mock-neck top to wear underneath and paired it with my go-to leather jacket and Vans. Now can someone find me a girl gang to join solely to show off this outfit?

After years of fearing skirts — I've never thought they were very flattering for the hips — I've rediscovered the joy of a sleek, mid-rise style. This silky black version is versatile enough to go with everything from a white T-shirt, as I've styled it, to an embellished, flashier top. I just wanted to be sure to show off the hand-embroidered waist detailing and keep things simple otherwise. I've worn it with navy sandals (I love mixing black and navy, especially in warmer weather) but could just as easily pair it with white sneakers.

My favorite article of clothing I own is a black, backless, tuxedo-inspired jumpsuit. Not only is it insanely flattering, but it makes me feel Bianca Jagger levels of awesome when I wear it. I've been drawn to jumpsuits of all makes and models since, and this Maiyet one-piece caught my eye the second I saw it on the clothing rack. White can be admittedly tricky to pull off (I mean, duh), but this material felt surprisingly forgiving. And with the wide legs and loose waist, it makes for a piece that can truly be dressed up or down — or, you know, wear it every day of my life.

I don't think I ever would have described a cardigan as "cool" until I saw this one. It functions almost more like a blazer — it's a highlight of the outfit rather than something you might just throw on when you're chilly. I love how open it is in the front and that it feels structured and delicate all at once. I chose to pair it with jeans, but it would also look great over a pair of trousers for work or a slip dress and heels for a night out.
