Demna Gvasalia addresses diversity within his brand
The Vetements founder spoke at length on the topic of diversity on the creative side of the fashion label, speaking to the fact that members of his design team who “all come from different parts of the world” are able to use their unique cultural experiences to inject the brand with a universality that resonates with a global audience. Ralph Lauren CEO announces new business strategy
In the face of declining sales (due partially to the rise in e-commerce) Ralph Lauren CEO Stefan Larsson revealed to investors an updated approach that involves some major restructuring, including shuttering roughly 10 percent of existing stores and nixing about a thousand jobs. {The Washington Post}

Karlie Kloss missed her flight and was not happy about it
The supermodel took to Twitter to sound off on the "worst customer service of all time" from Philippine Airlines after missing her flight New York to Vancouver. After Kloss’ post, the carrier issued the following statement:"We are sorry to hear that Ms. Karlie Kloss was unable to board our PAL flight from New York to Vancouver (PR127) last June 7,” it said. “As a matter of policy, the PAL check-in counters at JFK International Airport close one hour before estimated time of departure. Flight departure was at 12:15 a.m. June 7 and counters closed at 11:15 p.m. June 6; Ms. Kloss arrived at 11:40 p.m." {ABS-CBN}

Expect to see more mixed-gender fashion shows this season
As of late, more and more designers are opting to stage mixed-gender runway shows that feature women’s ready-to-wear alongside menswear looks.
