At this year's Cannes Film Festival, Elle Fanning caught our attention more times than we could count with her slew of best-dressed looks. The 18-year-old actress was in France to promote her latest project, psychological thriller "The Neon Demon," and she continues to exceed expectations throughout the film's ongoing press tour.
In London on Tuesday night, Fanning was dressed in a gown from Elie Saab's spring 2016 haute couture collection for the movie's U.K. premiere. In "The Neon Demon," the starlet plays Jesse, a new and naive model, who, as we can tell from the trailer, transforms into a blood-soaked, knife-wielding "dangerous girl." On the red carpet, however, Fanning sticks to her tried-and-true princess #aesthetic, a signature look that often consists of glitter tears, "Sleeping Beauty"-themed shoes, flowers, birds and lace, sometimes all at once. The all-crystal outfit could have easily turned costume-y, but with her sleek blonde hair and easy no-makeup makeup, she maintained a casual modernity.
We're excited to see what Fanning wears next, and with another film in the works — alongside fellow Rodarte fans Kirsten Dunst and Sofia Coppola — we have a hunch that her whimsical style will be back in full force.
