To say that families are having a moment in fashion right now would be the understatement of the century. Gigi and Bella Hadid are dominating newsstands, and their younger brother, Anwar, just scored his first Teen Vogue cover; Cindy Crawford and her 14-year-old daughter Kaia Gerber posed together on the April cover of Vogue Paris; Kendall and Kylie Jenner are hands down the most influential faces among millenials, and that's just the beginning.
When it comes to OG supermodel lineage, look no further than Kate Moss and her daughter, Lila Grace Moss Hack, who have been posing together pretty consistently over the past 13 years. The two appeared in Vogue back in 2011 when Moss's wedding to Jamie Hince was featured in the magazine (shot by Mario Testino), and now, they've graduated to a cover, starring on the front of Vogue Italia's June 2016 issue. In black and white portraits by Moss's longtime collaborator — and ex-boyfriend from the '90s — Mario Sorrenti, the editorial celebrates unconditional love with the title "It's All About Family." Mother and daughter are both dressed in Versace for the cover image, and show off their natural beauty with pared-down makeup looks. This one's a framer.
Keep an eye out for the issue when it hits newsstands in the coming days.
UPDATE: As it turns out, Vogue Italia took the familial theme of its June issue more seriously than we initially thought, and has released four more covers featuring some of the industry's most well-known clans. Mario Sorrenti captured model Sasha Pivovarova and her four-year-old daughter, Mia; model twin sisters Lia and Odette Pavlova; Pat Cleveland, Paul van Ravenstein and their children Noel and Anna; and even his own family — wife Mary Frey and children Arsun and Gray Sorrenti — for the sweet series.
