Let me begin this post by saying that when it comes to hair, I'm the laziest of the lazy. You'll never find me doing a mask, my fancy hairdryer still lives in its original, unopened packaging and I only recently learned how to (sort of) curl my hair. I live for dry shampoo, and that's about it.

I did, however, recently dye my hair green, which left me with awesome mermaid strands, but also made my hair a bit dry. In addition to washing my hair less often (see above note re: dry shampoo), I've also been taking extra steps to protect my color, which has led me to try a bunch of new hair products, including this one.

Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Primer is like the overachieving, straight-A's, violin virtuoso-polyglot-cheerleader from high school; it does everything, and it does it well. Just a few spritzes help to soften, detangle, tame frizz and flyaways and protect against breakage, heat-styling and UV damage. It's magic.

I reach for it whenever my ends are feeling a bit parched, before using my curling iron and on especially sunny days to shield against the sun's damaging rays. Unlike other oil-based hair products I've tried in the past, this one is super lightweight and doesn't leave my strands feeling greasy and weighed down. And like the Invisible Oil Shampoo and Conditioner, it smells addictively good. 10/10. *Insert applause emoji here.*
