Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Public Relations and Social Media Coordinator with a passion for beauty and an understanding of luxury. Candidate should have the ability to work in a highly collaborative team structure within an entrepreneurial environment. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Relationship building with key media and influencers
  • Strategic pitching and placement support
  • Assist in development of PR strategy and maintenance of PR calendar
  • Assist on all branded events, press previews and other consumer facing initiatives
  • Assist in communication with international markets
  • Assist in coordinating all requests, including seeding for editors, influencers, celebrities and makeup artists
  • Assist with press related photo shoots
  • Create and maintain press materials
  • Manage sample closet
  • Compile press coverage and distribute both internally and externally to all retailers and partners
  • Assist in managing all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook and Twitter
  • Develop and manage creative content calendar and contribute to photography, styling and formatting of creative content
  • Work with retailer partners to increase cross promotion across social channels
  • Collaborate with other departments including Sales, Marketing, E-Commerce and Creative

Skills and Experience:

  • Ideally the candidate is passionate about beauty, understands and appreciates luxury, while being on the pulse of cultural events and happenings
  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience in PR
  • Strong communication both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated, while still working within a team environment and fostering a strong team collaboration

Online Operations and Customer Service Coordinator

We are looking for an enthusiastic Online Operations and Customer Service Coordinator! Salary commensurate with experience.

Overall Description:

Successfully manage day-to-day Chantecaille.com operations and all Customer Service related issues.

Customer Service:

  • Provide customer service via telephone, email, and social media, including timely response to questions and comments from customers
  • Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints
  • Manage returns and exchanges, including but not limited to: return authorization, return receipt, and request to the accounting department to issue customer credit card refunds
  • Initiate daily or as needed communication with warehouse for information including but not limited to: shipping status, Quality Control, shipping materials, and stock availability
  • Process credit card Chargebacks, including all documentation and follow up
  • Contacting FedEx or other carrier regarding lost orders, following up on lost orders, filing for refunds, and refuting denied refunds
  • Review FedEx or other carrier invoices to ensure web delivery charges are accurate
  • Follow up on customer interactions
  • Ensure 100% customer satisfaction

Operations:

  • Review and approve orders via Magento Admin portal, to avoid fraudulent orders received, with assistance of Signifyd fraud protection service
  • Review and approve or deny suspected fraud orders via Authorize.net portal
  • Communicate with Signifyd regarding any issues on orders, either to review transactions not approved, or orders approved that were charged backs, including filing for insurance, and follow up
  • Gather visual assets for website pages
  • Perform basic updates on Products and CMS Pages on the front end side of Magento, including new copy, images, or videos
  • Communicate to Web Programmer of any glitch on the code or other interface issues and follow up
  • Create and send the weekly email and web order performance reports
  • Co-create with team an email and blog marketing strategy including offering strategy, content, calendar, and reporting/insights
  • Execute the email and blog marketing strategy to drive sales on site, including requests to Digital Designer, Copywriter, and Video Department for assets
  • Analyze and optimize email and blog campaign performance and execute changes based on quantitative, actionable insights
  • Research and update new technologies to improve web and email performance
  • Update category and product pages on the front end Magento
  • Upload new products onto the website
  • Update blogs
  • Coordinate the production of new pages with the Digital Designer and Web Programmer, including page re-designs
  • Perform other website maintenance as needed

Service and Operations

Required Skills:

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Knowledge on Windows/MAC Operating Systems
  • Knowledge on Microsoft Office
  • Basic knowledge of HTML
  • Analytical and data driven, but also a passion for creativity and forward thinking flair
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and progress multiple projects in parallel
  • Knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
  • Knowledge of multi-variate and A/B testing is a plus
  • Chinese language written and verbal preferred, not mandatory
