If you're as excited as we are to binge-watch Baz Luhrmann's upcoming Netflix series "The Get Down," then you're probably going to want to reserve your tickets now for our meetup with the show's costume designer Jeriana San Juan.

Before she was tasked with dressing a huge cast of '70s-era South Bronx teens for the series (which debuts August 12), San Juan worked on a number of TV shows including FX's "Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll" and several seasons of "Saturday Night Live." She was even an assistant costume designer on "Gossip Girl."

After graduating from the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Miami native started out in fashion design and styling and her career has since spanned theater, film, television and editorial.
