Summer party attire usually brings sleeveless cuts and high hemlines to mind, but leave it to Kate Middleton to execute warm-weather formal in the chicest way possible. At an event honoring London's Natural History Museum (to which the Duchess of Cambridge was presenting the Art Fund Museum of the Year prize), Middleton wore a Barbara Casasola off-the-shoulder jersey dress and peach heeled sandals by Schutz

The dress is currently sold out despite the $1,105 price tag, but it's not hard to see why. The silhouette is sexy without exposing a ton of skin, and the razor-sharp mesh paneling makes it look thoroughly modern. The more affordable $180 shoes, while sold out in this color, are still available in beige and black.

Middleton's signature blown-out brunette waves are not to be overlooked (to make your blow out last, reach for Kérastase's L'Incroyable Blowdry). Take note, and dress for your next night out accordingly.
