We are looking for a full-time, experienced sales support specialist who has a proven track record of impacting sales growth through new and existing markets, working directly with our 100+ retailers around the world to forecast and analyze sales, implement training and education programs, plan retailer-level marketing and events, and troubleshoot customer service issues.
The successful candidate is engaging and friendly, able to assist customers and retail associates through difficult situations without exhibiting frustration, is a critical thinker, able to analyze problems and collaboratively implement solutions, and is a self motivated, growth oriented professional who consistently exceeds expectations without compromising on exceptional service and high integrity.
Along with a variety of sales support tasks, this position requires "hands on" interface with all channel partners, supporting the Head of Sales in all outbound new door efforts, including retailer outreach, sample sends & end to end account set up, inbound new door inquiries, including managing communications & leading the processing of all retailer applications, and day to day customer relationship management efforts for all existing retailers, keeping detailed record of interactions.
Ideally, we need someone who is detail oriented, high energy, able to multi-task in a rapid paced environment, who loves the challenges and opportunities unique to sales. Candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to "connect" with people over email and phone, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university, proficient in Microsoft Excel, or like tools for collecting/analyzing data, with prior experience in sales, sales support or customer service; experience in the Beauty and/or wellness industry is a plus. This position is based in NYC, and candidates must be able to work out of our corporate office.
