Title: Accessories Account Coordinator
Position Reports To: Accessories Account Executive and Accessories Account Manager

Essential Duties:
Seasonal Collateral
- Communicating editorial calendar deadlines to client each season
- Coordinate receiving all seasonal collateral from clients in a timely manner (high res images, sample sets, linesheets, lookbooks, etc)
Facilitating sample requests
- Fulfilling all sample and image requests and updating both client and publication in a timely manner
- Coordinate sample returns
- Compiling monthly reports for AE to review, complete and submit
Credit checks
- Acting as liaison between client and publication when facilitating credit requests
Press
- Proactively search for press coverage
- Thoroughly review press for any edits needed and communicate needed changes to editor before sending through to client
- Promptly inform the client of any changes (ie. if the story is pushed to another date/issue)
- Assist AE in sending through all secured editorial placements to clients in a timely manner

Press Previews, Editor & Stylist Appointments
- Informing Showroom Manager of appointments, specific appointment needs and timing

Database, Reports and Schedule
- Upkeep of the Accessories team’s master contact list reflecting any changes within the fashion industry
- Updating Accessories master pitch grid with new outlets and product focused press opportunities
- Sending Accessories team calendar reminders, conference call times and info, schedule conflicts, etc. and working closely with the Executive Assistant to coordinate anything that Cindy Krupp should attend
- Compiling seasonal reports recapping NYFW trends to share with clients
Pitching
- Developing writing skills to play a more active role in pitching product and eventually feature stories
- Proactively checking in with press on a daily basis for upcoming product-focused stories, particularly for the March/April and September/October issues
- Pitching product placement pieces across all media (long and short lead print, online and broadcast) and consistently researching new press opportunities for clients
- Creating a strategic blast schedule each season featuring trends and specific product from clients’ collections for AE to approve
- Drafting the seasonal product/trend email blasts for AE to approve
- Sharing any helpful editor feedback from day to day dialogue with the rest of the team
- Being carefully observant of any holes, missed opportunities, room for improvement, or potential issues (ie. a client not being included in a March “Bag Guide” or excluded from a December gift guide when several items could have worked) and immediately communicating it to the team
Other
- Organize and prepare giftings
- Attend client meetings and calls to take notes and compile recap for AE to approve and send to client
- Provide managerial support to Showroom Manager, Accessories Assistant, and interns
- Continue building and maintaining editor relationships
Qualifications:
- At least 2 year of experience in fashion public relations (internships or full-time work experience)
- Bachelor’s degree
- Excellent writing skills
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage several clients and their needs
- Positive attitude
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook and familiarity with Fashion GPS is preferred
