If you remember, Leslie Jones had a touch of inexplicable, well-publicized difficulty last month finding a designer to dress her for the "Ghostbusters" premiere. After a handful of celebrity stylists unfairly attributed this struggle to the "Saturday Night Live" actress's size, Christian Siriano stepped in to make Jones the gown of her (and our!) dreams.
And you know what? There's no way she wasn't the best dressed person on that red carpet. For the occasion, Siriano created a cherry red column dress with a high slit and an off-the-shoulder neckline, the effects of which were fully reminiscent of an old Hollywood glamazon starlet. Jones — who works with stylist Brian McPhatter — loaded up on the blingy jewelry, too, topping it all off a weighty Dannijo collar necklace. Head-to-toe, it served as the perfect middle finger to all those unnamed brands that didn't want to outfit someone who wasn't a size zero. Eat your heart out, outdated designer norms.
