I'm a creature of habit when it comes to beauty products, meaning I rarely experiment with anything new and have been purchasing some of the same brand-name items since I was a teen. (Don't ever discontinue, Cover Girl blush in Soft Sable.) So bringing in a brand new deodorant to my morning routine is a pretty big change for me, and to pick it up a notch, I made the switch from a popular aluminum-ridden deodorant to a natural aluminum-free version by Meow Meow Tweet.
The beauty brand recently created its cult favorite deodorant cream into a stick with an updated formula that has a touch of baking soda. They celebrated the launch in New York City and I was lucky enough to grab one that's scented with lavender and bergamot. It's taken me years to finally jump on the natural deodorant bandwagon because, from suggestions I've read online, the idea of scooping goo from a tiny jar and slathering it onto your armpit doesn't exactly seem appealing. Since this comes in a stick — and is made from biodegradable (and very cute) packaging — I was instantly down to try it. So far, my underarms have been B.O.-free during hot and humid days in the city. Sure, I experience a little more perspiration action than usual, but if ladies can rock armpit hair with ease then a temporary sweat stain won't hurt either.
