STUDIO COORDINATOR

Rapidly growing designer lingerie & swimwear brand, Araks, is seeking a Studio Coordinator.  

The Studio Coordinator will provide leadership and will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, Public Relations operations and assist the creative director daily. The position offers a leadership opportunity to contribute and be part of building a growing brand.

He/she will be responsible for: 

  • leading day-to-day management and optimization of all projects, driving project/flow delivery with solutions, support, and timelines
  • establishing process efficiencies and best practices for delivering optimum creative solutions and maximization of resources 
  • Understanding brand standards to ensure all project deliverables stay “on brand” 
  • developing, coordinating and maintaining time and action calendars for the business between the Design, Production and Sales teams – and ensuring seamless communications between teams 
  • managing the PR logistics, inventory & sample trafficking in partnership with the PR Director
  • manage internal team scheduling and calendars [specifically creative director] 
  • assist the Creative Director day to day 
  • being the proactive point person between internal and external parties 
  • intern management 
  • Administrative and light accounting functions (no accounting experience necessary) 

  REQUIREMENTS 

  • 4 year University degree 
  • 2-5 years of project management experience in similar or closely related role 
  • Experience with leading and managing teams 
  • Well organized and detail-oriented 
  • Facilitates quick decision making 
  • Clear communication skills 
  • Ability to balance analytical skills with creative and fashion sensitivities 
  • Strong interpersonal skills; positive, energetic and open-minded 
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Desirable skills in: Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator 
  • Background in Garment manufacturing a plus
  • Love of beautiful clothes is a must
