Fashion media — us included! — can't stop talking about how menswear is having a moment. From the newly formed New York Fashion Week: Men's to a growing group of start-ups aimed at the menswear audience, the rest of the fashion industry wants to ride this wave. But what does it even mean for menswear to be "having a moment?" And can it continue?

We'll delve into that at our 2016 "How to Make it in Fashion" conference on Nov. 4 in New York City. During our "Why Menswear Is Having a Moment" panel, we'll be bringing together menswear experts across all fields to discuss what's next for this growing sector. You'll hear from Jacob Gallagher, Men's Fashion Editor of The Wall Street Journal's Off Duty; Jian DeLeon, Senior Menswear Editor at trend analytics and forecasting company WGSN; Lawrence Schlossman, Brand Director at Grailed and former editor of Four Pins; Todd Snyder, President & Founder of his eponymous menswear brand; and Tom Kalenderian, Executive Vice President, General Merchandise Manager of Mens & Chelsea Passage of Barneys New York.

And that's just the beginning of our New York conference. You'll also get to listen to speakers and participate in Q+As about starting your own label and influencer marketing, in addition to hearing keynote talks with Cathy Horyn and Patricia Field. You'll even have the chance to book mentoring sessions with someone who's made it in your chosen career field. Our conferences always sell out in advance, and mentoring sessions are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot ASAP.
