If you're stumped on what to wear to your next low-key dressy dinner party, look no further than Dakota Johnson's latest ensemble on Wednesday night at an event for U.N. Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in Los Angeles. The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actress wore an outfit that was sophisticated enough for a gathering of government officials, yet still showed off a hint of celebrity style flair.

Her off-the-shoulder top — a Proenza Schouler silhouette that has made plenty of rounds on the red carpet — pairs well with her slim-fitting trousers, which nicely balance out the top's trendy ruffles. But what we love most about Johnson's outfit are her easy, fun tassel earrings by Flaca Jewelry. The pop of red is a subtle surprise to the otherwise all-black outfit, and her wispy, effortless updo is something we'd like to try as a nice break from the sleek low buns we've been wearing all summer.
