Like all great Europeans, continental and otherwise, Elton John is being super chill right now. We know this because he was photographed over the weekend participating in various leisure activities in Portofino, Italy with husband David Furnish, a dog, other miscellaneous chic people and obviously the best couple to go on vacation with: Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka. Both couples' children were nowhere to be found and, honestly, kudos to them for letting loose without the kids.

More importantly, everyone in this vacation club turned up with festive shirt choices — can you imagine trying to pack for a vacation with Elton John? — including pattered short-sleeved, collared styles and silk-screened T-shirts. (We'll forgive NPH for his white tank because tan lines.) But no one could compete with John's own off-duty look: a red GucciGhost T-shirt complete with a white diamond and artist Trevor Andrew's signature double G's. (A black version retails on Gucci's site for $450.)

At this point, just wearing any Gucci from Alessandro Michele's hyped collections would be an awesome, if snoozy, choice for John. Indeed, the man's music is as legendary as his bold fashion choices throughout the years. But his choice of a piece from GucciGhost's limited-edition collaboration with the brand is supremely delightful in it's timeliness. John's well-documented obsession with tracksuits aside, we hope this is just the beginning of the musician's foray into of-the-moment streetwear. Get this man a "Titanic" Vetements shirt, stat.
