As a beachy-waves-or-bust devotee, I've tried probably every sea-salt spray on the market. And I mean that quite literally. While there are plenty of wave-enhancing mists I really, really like (honorable mentions to Ouai Wave Spray, Sachajuan Ocean Mist, Bumble and Bumble Surf Infusion, Hairstory Undressed and the OG, Oribe Après Beach), I find myself reaching for this one again and again. It's a natural formula that's so lightweight it pretty much just looks and feels like saltwater — saltwater with a killer coconutty scent (but not a cloying or artificial one), that is. It lends just the right amount of buildable grit, making soft, limp hair more defined and rumpled. It's practically impossible to overdo it: You can layer on more for extra texture without it ever turning stiff or crunchy.

I use this spray on my hair both wet and dry (tip: It's a second-day-hair dream product), and unlike some salt sprays that contain alcohol and sap strands of natural oils, this one actually moisturizes and protects hair, thanks to aloe and coconut. Basically, it's dreamy beach hair in a bottle.
