Kenzo artistic directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have paired up with their longtime pal and collaborator Spike Jonze for the duo's first fragrance for the brand, "Kenzo World." Jonze created a short fashion film — but really, a high-powered and hypnotizing music video — to coincide with the launch, starring actress Margaret Qualley, whom you might know from "The Leftovers," "The Nice Guys" or being Andie Macdowell's daughter. (Though we quickly learn that she's a very talented dancer, too.)
Titled "My Mutant Brain," the video follows Qualley as she leaves a stuffy gala dinner to dance through the banquet hall grounds to an original bass-heavy track by Sam Spiegel and Ape Drums. And if the thought of Maddie Ziegler in a blonde bob comes to mind, you're on the right track: Qualley's performance was choreographed by Ryan Heffington, who worked with Ziegler in Sia's “Chandelier” music video. The entire video, which you can watch above, is basically the fashion version of Fatboy Slim's "Weapon of Choice" music video with Christopher Walken — also directed by Jonze.
