The Stand-Out Beauty Trends From New York Fashion Week's Spring 2017 Shows
The hair and makeup on the spring 2017 New York runways hit both high and low extremes (there was the no-makeup makeup, no-hair hair, no nail-nail look at Tommy Hilfiger; there was the traffic-stopping glitter lip at DKNY). We saw unconventional products put to use backstage (looking at you, Hood by Air), and on the opposite side of the beauty spectrum, we saw riffs on classics like the French manicure and the red lip. Plus, in what can only be described as "art imitates life," we saw a bevy of slicked-back, glossy hair looks that echoed the army of sweaty beauty editors corralled backstage. (Temps peaked at a balmy 91 degrees. Glamorous.) For all the spring 2017 NYFW inspo you'll need come next year, click through our runway trend report, below.
