In keeping with this spirit, makeup artist Lisa Eldridge recently posted a video to Youtube demonstrating a super-pretty monochromatic fall makeup look. She also aims to use only natural and organic products to do so, pulling from brands like Tarte (which she notes isn't an entirely natural brand, but one that does make an effort to avoid certain chemicals), Jane Iredale, Well People, Kjaer Weis and Ilia.

For the look, Eldridge uses a similar autumnal reddish-plum shade on her lips, eyes and cheeks (which, it's worth nothing, is fairly similar to the look makeup artist Pat McGrath created just days ago on the Anna Sui spring 2017 runway).

One standout tip from the video is to use aloe vera gel (rather than traditional eye shadow primer) as an eye shadow base, since it creates a smooth, even surface for the pigment to cling to, says Eldridge. To find out more about her exact products and tricks, watch the full video above.
