The Hand Cream Stephanie Uses Obsessively

From a self-described hand cream addict.

Much like George Costanza would like to be draped in cashmere, I would like to be covered in moisturizer. (No, not in a skeevy Hood by Air way, gross.)

That especially applies to my hands: I'm obsessive about slathering on hand cream after every time I wash them, when I leave my apartment in the morning and before I go to sleep at night. Whatever, there are worse addictions to have. And Jurlique's Citrus Hand Cream is one of my all-time favorite formulas.

I first encountered it at Paintbox, where they use it exclusively to finish off your gel manicure and make cuticles look ~*flawless*~. I immediately had to know what it was, so that I could make sure to always stash a tube in my bag (and at my desk and in my nightstand). The citrusy scent is fresh and energizing, not artificial or saccharine. And for me, it strikes just the right balance of being hydrating and reparative without taking forever to absorb into skin or rendering your hands so slippery, you're incapable of holding a pen for the next three hours.
