I wasn't really sure what to expect this fashion week (see our Executive Editor's essay on the subject here), but if there's one thing I can always count on, it's getting way fewer than eight hours of sleep every night. Not so great for a contact lens-wearer with chronic dry eyes.

I also work in the digital world, which means that a lot of my waking hours are spent in front of a computer. Plus, being the millennial I am, I also spend a lot of time on my phone. (I'm a product of my generation, yadda yadda yadda.) What I'm getting at is that I rely on eye drops to basically save myself from looking like a zombie during my most sleep-deprived, stressful moments, a.k.a. NYFW.

Unlike other eye drops I've used (and trust, I've used many), Rohto's Cool drops make my tired, bloodshot eyes feel instantly tingly and cool, and any trace of redness is almost immediately gone. (Sidebar: Can eyeballs even feel tingly and cool? Apparently so.) Plus, the little pod-like packaging is weirdly adorable.

While these eye drops aren't unattainably priced by any means, (the most I've paid for them was $10 back in Virginia, and that was still totally worth it), they're even cheaper in Japan (where Rohto is based and produced), topping out at about $3 at any drugstore. Quick trip to Japan, anyone?
