Move over, street style stars: Vetements has a new famous fan.
Whoopi Goldberg surprised "The View" audience on Monday by wearing one of Vetements's most recognizable hoodies from the design collective's fall 2016 show, reading, "May the bridges I burn light the way." It's a comfy but brazen look, which seems exactly in line with both Goldberg's personal style and her wry personality. (You can buy it for a cool $1050 here.)
Whoopi Goldberg clearly has fashion on the brain right now. The legendary comedian, actress and co-host of the roundtable talk show popped up multiple times during New York Fashion Week: at Marc Jacobs, Hood by Air and on stage at Opening Ceremony's celebrity-filled "Pageant of the People."
We certainly never thought we'd see Vetements on live daytime network television, especially on Goldberg, but it's a testament to how important the buzzy French label has become in the world of pop culture. (Lest you forget, Celine Dion wore the famed "Titanic" hoodie by the brand during Paris Couture Week in July.) It does makes sense, however: Much like the sweatshirt in question, Goldberg gives zero f*cks.
