I'm all for makeup that's easy to use, takes five seconds to apply and lasts all day. And as much as I'd like to take half and hour to sit at my desk to get ready, since I'm usually rushing to leave my apartment, that's really more of a requirement than a preference. I'm always looking for products that do double-duty, and this might be my favorite one yet.

My go-to look consists of all-over champagne lids — my trick for looking awake (well, sort of) — and a swipe of black liner, so I reach for this pot of cream eye shadow almost everyday. The smooth, whipped formula is lightweight, blends beautifully and stays put amazingly well, even without the help of primer. However, after being partially inspired by a recent roundup I did, I've been finding myself using it as a highlighter, and dabbing it on the tops of my cheekbones in addition to using it as a shadow. And Charlotte Tilbury, makeup goddess that she is, didn't let me down; the cool-toned gold shade works great with my naturally tan skin, and since the formula is more pigmented than most powder and cream highlighters, I only need to use a few strategically placed dots to get a strobed effect. It's totally normal to be in love with an eyeshadow, right guys? (...guys?)
