Six months after their first campaign together, the blond, cherubic teenagers Lucky Blue Smith and Hailey Baldwin are back as the fall 2016 faces of Tommy Hilfiger's Hilfiger Denim capsule, Tommy Jeans. In this sophomore collection, Tommy Jeans continues to reimagine the brand's most iconic '90s classics "with a fresh, youthful energy and new silhouettes," according to a press release.
As was the case with Tommy Jeans's debut range, this second capsule leans into the industry's current fixation on nostalgia. (In Urban Outfitters's case, its throwback partnerships — including one with Tommy Jeans — have reportedly helped to win back core customers.) Logo-adorned T-shirts, briefs and beanies are paired with track pants and overalls, as well as puffer jackets, hoodies and a sweatshirt dress. But the collection's pièce de résistance is a unisex, shearling-lined denim jacket which Smith wears in the campaign, styled without a shirt underneath. (Check it out in the gallery below.)
"It's always inspiring to look back on our heritage and the most iconic styles from our archives," said Hilfiger, the person, in a statement. "Our Tommy Jeans collection is all about nostalgia and iconic staples, with updated silhouettes and a new edge. Reminiscing on this era reminds me of some incredible memories — from our first collaborations with musicians and celebrities to our continued passion for pop culture."
Tommy Jeans's fall 2016 line will be available starting Tuesday, Oct. 4 at select Tommy Hilfiger stores worldwide, select wholesale retailers and online at Tommy.com.
