With its ever-growing new class of Angels (Josephine Skriver being the newest recruit), two contract models with brand-new babies and a new emphasis on wellness and activewear (#trainlikeanangel), it's safe to say that Victoria's Secret has officially entered a new era — and has successfully captured the hearts of the social media-obsessed younger generation. And the exciting developments keep on coming: On Monday, the lingerie giant announced that it is taking its annual fashion show on the road once again this November, where the over-the-top marketing extravaganza will take place in Paris for the first time. The show will air on CBS on Dec. 5 at 10 p.m. EST and will be broadcast in more than 190 countries around the world.
Back in 2014, the Angels descended upon Earl's Court in London — the only time the brand has staged the show in Europe — as a celebration of Victoria's Secret's expansion in the U.K. It returned to New York for its 20th anniversary in 2015, but the event has temporarily decamped to both Los Angeles and Miami in previous years. The show, which normally takes place in November, falls just a few weeks after Paris Fashion Week winds down, and we're betting the models who make the high-fashion runway rounds as well are in for a very different (and likely much more fun) work experience when VS comes to town.
