Kate Mara has returned to the red-carpet circuit with "Man Down," which premiered in Los Angeles on Wednesday night. (The new film, co-starring Shia LaBeouf, hits theaters this weekend.) For the special occasion, the actress wore Dior, in the form of a short, nude, tulle dress embroidered with the same motifs used throughout newly appointed creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri's debut collection, which has been making the red-carpet rounds lately. Mara's peep-toe heels — Christian Louboutin — were also studded, quite literally, with details. A champion of the evening-ready minidress, Mara's quite the pro when it comes to keeping simple outfit choices interesting.
We also have to give a quick shout-out to her beauty look, too. Now that the 33-year-old style star's gone platinum blonde, her dark manicure, bold lip and slight smokey eye add a moody-but-cool component to her overall look. Welcome back, Kate. We can't wait to see what you'll come up with next.
