That's Dame Anna Wintour to you...
Vogue editor in chief's Anna Wintour has been named Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire — or DBE — following a previous honor in 2008 that gave her the title of OBE, or Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. Other recipients from this year's Queen's Honor List include designer Anya Hindmarch, Victoria Beckham and Oscar-winning costume designer Jenny Beavan. {WWD}

Gwen Stefani named Revlon's newest global ambassador
The pop star has joined the mega beauty brand's roster of celebrity ambassadors (which includes Ciara, Emma Stone, Halle Berry and Olivia Wilde) as Revlon's newest face of the brand's Choose Love campaign. "[The Choose Love campaign] is full of choice and positivity and dreams and truth and I feel like that's aligning exactly with where I'm at in my personal life in the last couple of years," said Stefani to WWD. "I've had to kind of choose love, choose truth, choose to be positive and work my way back to a place of using my gift and sharing my love with people." {WWD}

Kate Spade to begin formal auction process
Earlier last week, rumors surrounding Kate Spade's possible sale began to swirl, and as Bloomberg reports, the brand has indeed begun the official process of seeking a buyer. Schiaparelli and Julien Fournié granted couture house status
Schiaparelli and Julien Fournié are the latest labels to be granted the haute couture tag by the French Couture Federation, as French fashion's governing body announced in a statement on Tuesday. The two brands officially gained couture status at a meeting of a commission of France's Industry Ministry on Dec. 16. The number of houses with couture credentials, which carry strict requirements, now totals 15. {WWD}

Athleta debuts empowering new campaign starring a 98-year old yoga instructor
The activewear brand is ringing in the new year with a brand-new campaign that continues the "Power of She" theme introduced last April. The series of campaign videos showcase a cast of inspiring women, ranging from a trio of athletes to the world's oldest yoga instructor, all of whom embody Athleta's wellness-centric brand of inclusivity. "We want to break down stereotypes and help redefine perceptions of wellness and strength while celebrating the power of the female collective to make an impact," said Athleta President Nancy Green via release. Watch a video from the campaign, below. {Fashionista inbox}

Barbie Ferrera and Hari Nef star in new Urban Outfitters campaign
Urban Outfitters has unveiled its "Class of 2017" campaign, presented in part with Hanes and Champion, starring a veritable squad of 16 up-and-coming "creative minds" including social media stars Barbie Ferrera and Hari Nef alongside artists, musicians, students and models.
