Can you see yourself wearing head-to-toe spandex this spring? If not, perhaps Demna Gvasalia's latest Balenciaga campaign will convince you to consider it. The award-winning designer used plenty of the fetishistic material (and '80s/'90s workout staple) in his second collection for the French fashion house, which debuted in Paris last October.

Gvasalia continues to eschew famous faces (read: Instagirls and celebrities) for his Balenciaga ads, instead relying on a cast of recent runway show models Alek Wek, Shujing Zhou and Eliza Douglas to star in the spring campaign. A spokesperson has also confirmed that Carla Daher, Litay Marcus, Amandine Renard and Sunniva Vaatevi will appear in the campaign as subsequent images continue to be released throughout the season.

Styled by Gvasalia's longtime collaborator Lotta Volkova and photographed by Harley Weir (they've both walked the Vetements runway in seasons past), the imagery mainly takes place against a draped curtain, which makes for an interesting composition with the collection's bright spandex and Douglas's shiny hooded rain coat.

With spring magazine covers and fashion issues about to debut, we wonder whether Balenciaga's statement-making spandex will follow the trajectory of the brand's popular puffer jacket last fall with a lead on styling credits. We've already spotted the electric purple and pink look on German Vogue's February cover starring Toni Garrn, as well as on Marie Claire's February cover featuring Claire Danes. In addition, Gisele Bündchen apparently has something in the works with Mario Testino wearing several looks from the label's collection.

Perhaps you should plan a thrift store trip to stock up on spandex sooner rather than later.
