We were so busy fussing over the unprecedented amount of princess-y pink and high-shine sequins that showed up on Sunday's Golden Globes red carpet that we almost forgot to pay any attention to the evening's male attendees. Then Ryan Gosling all but waltzed in wearing a custom white Gucci tuxedo jacket and we thought, quite simply, "A MAN!" And it's certainly no coincidence that several of Gosling's fellow best-dressed gentlemen — Donald Glover, Andrew Garfield and John Legend — also went the Gucci route; Glover, for one, draped himself in head-to-toe brown velvet.
Meanwhile, Pharrell Williams upheld his longstanding partnership with Chanel by way of a Chanel-branded beanie, and Tom Ford, the person, wore Tom Ford, the brand, better than any other man on Earth could dream of. Then there were the "Stranger Things" boys, pictured above, who not only showed up together with pint-sized delight Millie Bobby Brown in tow, but they also staged what appears to have been an impromptu photo shoot at their hotel beforehand. (Menswear gods in the making?) Finally, Milo Ventimiglia poetically told Ryan Seacrest that he selected his midnight blue Ralph Lauren because it "moved like smoke," which is just as apt a motive as any.
