Today in not-so-shocking news: The Duchess of Cambridge wore another good thing paired with an exceptionally bouncy blowout during a public appearance on Tuesday to announce plans for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon in London. In today's crazy cultural and political climate, it's kind of nice to have something you can always count on, isn't it? Kate Middleton managed to make florals seasonally appropriate in the form of a long-sleeve dress by British label Erdem.

Floral-printed Erdem pieces have been staples in Middleton's wardrobe before (see this and this). Given that the label's designs often include prim silhouettes (high collars, long sleeves) paired with modern prints, it's almost like many of the pieces are designed solely with Duchess Kate in mind. And let's be real, that's a pretty genius approach to design when you're one of London's most important fashion brands.

As for that stunning blowout? It's got to include at least a few hair extensions. Right? No one's hair is that naturally lush and voluminous, not even a duchess's. Right??? Well, that's what we'll be telling ourselves, anyway.
