I'll be the first to admit that while they're both warm and cozy, corduroy pants aren't exactly sexy. If the fabric is too thin and tight, you look like you're wearing corduroy leggings (which, let's be honest, shouldn't be a thing that exists) and if they're too baggy, well, your outfit gets frumpy real fast.

At 5'2, I've often struggled when it comes to shopping for pants. It's rare that I can confidently purchase a pair of jeans that aren't ankle-length (a.k.a. made-for-short-people-length) and if an ankle-length style doesn't exist, well, let's just say it's a good thing my twin sister majored in fashion design at Parsons and knows how to do a quick hem.

If you live in the northeast, then you know that we've been seeing our share of cold, blustery winter days, and with that in mind, it was nothing short of a godsend when these pants arrived at my desk, courtesy of the brand. I immediately loved the fabric, but had no idea how they'd fit. As soon as I got back home, I rushed to try them on and was thrilled to find that they hit perfectly at my ankle. And trust me, when it comes to the booty area, L'Agence knows how it's done: The placement and size of the back pockets create a lifting effect that's super-flattering, and overall, make these the most perfect pair of cords ever.
