Seriously, is there anything Ruth Negga doesn't look spectacular in? The answer is a hard "hell, no." For further evidence of that fact, please see exhibit number 9,372: this look with detached pinstripe sleeves. The actress wore this distinctly hard-to-pull-off ensemble on Wednesday evening for a special screening of her film "Loving." The best-dressed star, styled by the talented (and must-watch) Karla Welch, showed off a pre-fall 2017 look from the brand Monse — another rising fashion star to follow this year — run by duo Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia.
Negga also showed her support for Louis Vuitton, which she wore to the Golden Globes on Sunday night, by matching her red shoes and lipstick with an LV-monogrammed crossbody bag. While we couldn't find any official photos from Negga's appearance online — the image above was posted by Welch herself — we very much prefer this posed photo in front of an elevator. If any of us ever attempted this, we would look pretty awkward, which brings us back to our first question: Seriously, can Ruth Negga make anything look bad?
