On the last day of London Fashion Week, the statement dressing continued, this time with quirky handbags. The street style set opted for an accessory with texture (wicker, anyone?), patterns and phrases — sometimes all wrapped up in one tiny tote. Unlike in New York, where outfits are generally on the streamlined side, London's showgoers piled on even more eye-popping items, whether it was clashing prints, contrasting colors or layering a ruffled, floral dress over a pair of jeans. As we make our way to Milan, we wonder what type of sartorial inspiration will strike the fashion flock next?
