We've been seeing Gucci here and there since the start of New York Fashion Week, but the Italian label was particularly popular among the street style crowd on Monday. We can't say we were too surprised; we predicted Alessandro Michele's take on the old school logo would be a hit among showgoers, and it already proved to be a top wardrobe choice during men's fashion week in Paris last month. In New York, however, Gucci appeared in many forms: T-shirts, sweaters, cardigans and the classic "double-G" buckle belt.
Pink, from blush to bold to pastel, has also become a favorite among the fashion flock. No surprise here, either: We already found 61 reasons on the spring 2017 runways why we would probably, definitely end up wearing the color this year. For New York Fashion Week, it was in the form of outerwear, which was a nice pick-me-up from the cold, wintery mix outdoors. With only three more days of shows left to go, we need a good boost of sartorial energy now more than ever.
