Colorful Furs Took Over Street Style On Day 6 of New York Fashion Week

Let's hope they're faux!

When it comes to fashion week in the winter, a statement coat is all you really need for a street style-worthy look. At New York Fashion Week: Men's last month, we saw fur coats aplenty, but this time around, showgoers went for pops of color with their (hopefully faux) outerwear. On day six of the New York shows, there were pretty pinks — a favorite color among jackets and coats this week — and various shades of blue, from powdery pastel to cerulean. We'd like to hat-tip a couple of fall 2016 runway moments, like Saint Laurent's red "heart" coat and Gucci's pink fox fur coat, that might have inspired the fashion flock to go for their brightest, softest pieces.

As we near the end of New York Fashion Week, we wonder: what sartorial stops will the street style set pull next time?
