Shiny Pants and Coats Were All Over Day 7 of New York Fashion Week

We're in the homestretch, people! On the seventh day of New York Fashion Week, showgoers opted for their shiniest garments, as we expected, from black skinny pants to long, collared coats in red, green and burgundy. Some fashion folks let this current trend take the outfit spotlight, while others piled on even more textures, prints and patterns. Whatever the wardrobe choice may be, it's obvious that such a subtle, shiny detail instantly adds a cool, polished effect to any look.
Plus, sporty brands were a street style hit, such as pairing a logo sweatshirt with high-heeled boots or wide-legged pants. We'd like to think the anticipation of Yeezy Season 5 show transpired a slew of dressed-up athleisure ensembles, or, perhaps, we're ready to chill out and relax after seven-plus days straight of shows.
