It's the first day of New York Fashion Week, and I've been pretty bad with my ~*beauty prep*~. I haven't had the time to get my nails done, go in for a very-much-needed haircut or have my eyebrows waxed. (Though, to be honest, I'm more concerned about what to wear than I am about doing my hair.) What I did make the time for ahead of NYFW was to slather on my trusty face mask from Origins on Wednesday night. I've been using this jet-black clarifying mask for years to help draw out the grossness that ends up in my pores without making my skin feel dry or irritated.
Once I wash it off, my skin instantly feels soft and my complexion is clearer, glowing and a lot less oily. And that's all because of the mask's active bamboo charcoal, which acts like a magnet to attract impurities and whisk them away. Pretty cool, huh? Now if you will excuse me, I should probably go and schedule a manicure soon.
Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores, $26, available at Sephora.
