I fully understand that some people find lengthy skin-care routines to be excessive and a waste of time. If you're one of those people, you can go ahead and stop reading right now. But I have found that adopting a carefully planned nightly beauty routine is excellent when it comes to soothing anxiety and generally relaxing before you hit the sheets. My multi-step process helps me mentally unwind and slip into a chill mindset before bed — and I don't hate that it also makes my complexion look a little better.
When I stumbled upon this video guide to beauty blogger Jaleesa Moses's nightly routine, I had to watch. (Have you seen her skin? Perfection.) According to Moses, her skin is sensitive, acne-prone and falls in the "combination" category.
