Over the past few years, the beauty industry has been overwhelmed by minimalist, Instagram-ready packaging. What's inside of that bottle – worthy of a coveted spot on your boudoir – used to be what mattered. Now, it's a 50/50 toss-up, if that.
This time of packaging makeovers begs the question: How do you shop for new beauty products? When looking for your next favorite lipstick or hair product, do you favor its aesthetic appeal, or are you more focused on seeing results? And what's more, how are you even sussing out the good from the bad with the constant onslaught of new products that seem to be appearing on beauty shelves every day?
It's no secret that we live in a time of overabundance; we no longer just get new products based on the seasons. We can now expect them from influencer collaborations, celebrity collaborations and countless other (at times monthly!) collections. So, how do you keep up?
We want to know exactly that. So we're asking you to share your opinions about how you actually shop for beauty products. Our survey is short, anonymous and an excellent way to take a quick break from whatever else you're (avoiding) doing. Plus, the more of you who chime in, the more accurate the results will be. Click here to take the survey. On behalf of beauty obsessives everywhere, we thank you!
