Remember a couple weeks ago when I very emphatically proclaimed that I was breaking myself out of my T-shirt rut?
Scratch that, we're just reverting back to my old ways now.
While perusing the channels of Instagram one afternoon, I came across the recently launched graphic tee brand Monogram, which comes courtesy of Lisa Mayock and Jeff Halmos, the co-founders of late-aught labels Vena Cava and Shipley & Halmos. One scroll through Monogram's feed (@thisismonogram) had me obsessed; I immediately fell for the overtly '70s- and '80s-era imagery and punchy slogans, like "Phallique Mystique" and "Casual Encounters." But, because I'm a sheep, I was most excited by this already widely popular serif "Nudes" tee, complete with a pleasant graphic. The only issue, for now, is that it's currently sold out, which presents a problem for me as I look to, you know, buy it.
So, I come to Monogram on my hands and knees, asking them to restock this puppy so I can wear it with jeans, shorts and skirts (or under overalls and dresses) all spring and summer long.
Monogram Nudes Tee, $65, available at Monogram.
