Lanvin
There's something so chic and romantic about the way this dress wraps around the shoulders. It also feels light and airy despite being black. —Dhani Mau
Dries Van Noten
Yes, gender lines are blurring, but I still think it takes a certain confidence to dress in such a traditionally masculine way. I hope to have that confidence — and a Dries budget — someday. —Dhani Mau
I also hope to be able to pull off walking with one hand in the pocket of trousers over which I'm wearing an ankle length dress. There's a lot of layering happening here, but somehow it doesn't feel overdone. —Dhani Mau
Rochas
Alessandro Dell'Aqua looked to elegance and 1940s-era romance for his Fall 2017 collection. The highlights? Bow-detailed suiting, which somehow managed to be both boyish and utterly feminine at once. —Ashley Simpson

Another highlight was one very dark, completely sheer black lace gown. This dress will probably come to retail with a lining, but I love the concept of a woman wearing something so deeply romantic without. It feels very modern — much like the collection as a whole. —Ashley Simpson
Maison Kitsuné
The Fall 2017 Maison Kitsuné collection was inspired by classic American superheroes, including Wonder Woman, hence these amazing sparkly cobalt blue boots. —Dhani Mau
This look was less literally superhero-inspired, but I was still obsessed with it; I'm going to need that skirt in my wardrobe come fall. —Dhani Mau
H&M Studio
The theme of H&M Studio's Spring 2017 "see now, buy now" collection was romance-meets-athleisure, and I thought this look was such a lovely example. I'm also a sucker for a pinafore. —Dhani Mau
