Paris, the final chapter of fashion month, concluded yesterday with Louis Vuitton's dramatic Louvre extravaganza. As we narrow down the most common trend stories of Fall 2017 (stay tuned for that tomorrow!), let's take some time to see what the designers of Paris Fashion Week had in store for the upcoming season.

A touch of silver was seen throughout Paris, much like it's been seen all through fashion month. Get ready to shine!

Amongst the outerwear trends of Fall 2017, we have the cape. Can't go wrong with a classic.

PINSTRIPES

The pinstripe is not beholden to the popular suiting trend we've been seeing this season; it has taken on a life of its own in Paris.

Spilling over from Milan, Paris saw many designers placing fur on arms only.

PRINCESSES

Soft silhouettes fit for a princess were popular, and is a nice counterpoint to the intense black for which Paris is famous. Speaking of which...

BLACK LEATHER COATS

Little black dress? Try the big black leather coat on for size, instead.

The milliners were hard at work in Paris. And while we're not sure how practical a handbag-for-a-hat is, there's no denying the attention it would bring! (Just kidding, we pray no one actually tries it.)
