The First Commercial for Victoria Beckham's Target Line Is Set to a Spice Girls Song

Cue '90s nostalgia-induced freak out. (Also, the clothes are really good.)

We've known since October that Victoria Beckham would be the next designer to create a collection for Target, and while we were plenty pumped about the news back then, it wasn't until Beckham herself posted the commercial for the line — set to a Spice Girls song! — on Instagram Wednesday morning that we at Fashionista collectively lost our damn minds.

The ad, which was shot by Willy Vanderperre, features Beckham's color-blocked designs — which are so good, but we'll get to that in a second — on a pleasantly diverse group of both adult and child models. And as said models happily saunter through the VBxTarget world, "Spice Up Your Life" plays in the background. Let's just say, the combo has us shook.

Watch the spot for yourself here:

We're already lusting after the bold, spring-y collection, sure, but it's the Girl Power impact of it all that's making us freak out. Serious and successful designer though she may be, Beckham has never shied away from embracing her pop star roots, and it's difficult not to love her for it.

The VBxTarget collection will be available at Target beginning on April 9; mark your calendar now (and also maybe pop on a Spice Girls album today in anticipation of it all).
