One of my favorite things about the ethical fashion movement is the way it makes space for small, under-the-radar brands that are doing things well. Winsome Goods is one such label that I recently came across on Instagram. Started by Midwesterner Kathryn Sterner Sieve, the made-in-America brand features simple, lovely separates that are made to last and easy to live in.
This denim top in particular caught my eye with its unraveling edges and boxy shape. While I'm a notorious denim lover, I don't like the flimsy, thin fabric that a lot of denim tops are made of. This one looks to be made of a much more robust material, which means it will last for a long time, but also get softer and more uniquely worn-in as it ages. And because it's blue denim, this top will look good with literally everything — just picture it with these chunky sandals and bright tasseled earrings. Throw some cropped wide-leg pants into the mix, and you've got the perfect no-fuss outfit for a Saturday afternoon in spring.
