We write a lot about Instagirls and celebrity offspring models on this website, but if there's one woman on Earth who knows exactly what it takes to raise not one, not two, but three budding supermodels, it's Yolanda Hadid. The 53-year-old former model and ex-"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star blessed her children Gigi, Bella and Anwar with some stellar DNA, as well as plenty of business sense, as the gorgeous brood is easily one of the hardest working in the industry today (with the biggest personal #brands). So, it's only right that the Hadid matriarch is making her triumphant return to the small screen — this time with a show of her own — that puts her unique skillset front and center.
Lifetime has signed Hadid to host "Model Moms," a reality TV series that follows her as she coaches aspiring teen models to succeed both on and off the runway. "Yolanda, along with her trusted team of experts, will put the girls and their 'momagers' through an intensive eight-week training program, focused on the physical, mental and emotional wellness that it takes to build a sustainable brand," the network wrote in a press release. And that's not even the best part: Participating teen models will each have the shot to earn a $5,000 prize each week to invest in their future careers, because comp cards and New York City rents are not cheap. However, Hadid will only choose one winner at the end, who will sign a management contract with Hadid's company (which is unfortunately not called Momager, Inc.) and potential representation with IMG Models. The agency not only counts all three Hadid siblings as talent, but also most up-and-comers (and Hollywood progeny) you can think of, including Kaia Gerber, Hailey Baldwin and Sailor Brinkley Cook.
Whether Hadid's doting children make guest appearances on the show, you can bet that we will tune into every damn episode of this thing. Yolanda is objectively the best thing to come out of the "Real Housewives" series (unless you factor in the "Vanderpump Rules" spin off, of course) and we can't wait to see her take a new generation of fashion teens under her wing. As the kids say: We love you, mom!
