See What Celebrities Wore to Coachella's First Weekend

From full runway looks to festival season staples, these show- and partygoers brought their sartorial A-game.

The first weekend of the 2017 edition of Coachella has come and gone. In the grand tradition of the music-meets-fashion extravaganza in Indio, California, celebrities, influencers and "It" kids showed up in droves, wearing the most memorable looks they could muster for their (probably paid) appearances at branded pool parties at Palm Springs estates and to hit up the festival itself. As Coachella has become increasingly commercial over the years, attendees' looks are much more considered: With photo opps around every corner and as many events on the schedule as there are hours in the day, standing out is harder than ever before. But that doesn't mean our favorite sartorially savvy ladies didn't try their damnedest.

Whether they opted for an off-the-runway designer look — think Rihanna in a sparkly Gucci bodysuit and tank top that debuted at the Italian house's Fall 2017 show, or Chiara Ferragni in a Dior tutu by Maria Grazia Chiuri — or went the casual, cool route with bohemian or streetwear-inspired ensembles, celebrities did not come to play this year, and the resulting outfits, while slightly extra in many cases, were anything but boring. Check out what the bold names wore to the first weekend of Coachella in the gallery below, and if you're itching for more festival fashion, fear not! In five more days, this will all go down all over again.
